Message	Roll back to the previous day settings and all programs usually restore and are functional, depends on how corrupt the files are. On your menu Go to Start, then Accessories, then System Tools, then choose System Restore. A calendar pops up with dates, choose a date that is underlined, those dates are the times when Windows received Updates from Microsoft, most reliable points to restore your system too. Never tried this with a bad partition because I never setup that feature, but worst case, you waste a few minutes and all other data will remain intact. Windows will back up the whole drive when using restore. Read help file for more info. This is kind of like traveling back in time on your PC to a point before the event that led up to losing your data. Sometimes it works. Restart PC after Restore and check for files. >
